Hi, I'm Jenna!

I am the owner and photographer of This is Us Photography by Jenna Moenster. I'm just a Texas girl with a heart for Cali, planting roots in the Midwest. I grew up a military kiddo and lived a little bit of everywhere! I come from a Patriotic, Jesus loving family, and for as long as I can remember I've loved photography.

For me 'Home is Where the Heart Is' and the memories that make up my life exist not only in my heart but in the gazillion photographs that have been taken along the way.   These days, I'm a mama of four kids...yes that is 4! Things get a little bit crazy at times, but it's fun. We are wrapped in God's love everyday, as we watch our littles grow. When I look back at their baby photos I can't help think how we are all made in the image of God, and how beautiful we all are. I also see how very fast time flies.

I want to capture every minute of their little lives; every smile, every joy, and every accomplishment. (Honestly I love every tear, every fall, and every failure. Because behind every tear is a hug, behind every fall is a helping hand, and behind every failure is a chance to learn, to love, and to grow. It's all of these moments that make us who we are and tells our story.)  

When I take a photograph I want to capture not only the beautiful face but the beautiful soul that stands on the other side of the lens. We are so different and unique and it's these things that make us beautiful. So whether it is silly, serious, or stunning I want to preserve this moment in time, that makes up your life, that tells your story, and that creates your cherished memories.
